Hello!

I am a design minded software engineer focused on the intersection of AI and HCI.

About Me
I'm currently a senior at Stanford University, majoring in Computer Science with a specialization in Artifical Intelligence. On campus, I am a part of the CS + Social Good Studio teaching team, in which I lead a class of 30 students in creating their own mobile and web applications.

I enjoy bridging the gap between engineering and design - combining my technical knowledge with visuals to create an engaging, aesthetic product. My goal is to always build scalable and efficient applications while providing intuitive, seamless user experiences.

When I'm not in front of a computer screen, you can find me playing basketball or taking photos!

Prototyped, designed, and created a Flask web interface that teaches rudimentary piano playing through temporally clustered video segments. Used signal processing and onset detection to detect user mistakes in piece. Additionally, was responsible for designing and creating the UI of the system to better allow users to visualize their progression.

Demo2Tutor. Last summer, I worked at Stanford's AI Lab, under Emma Brunskill and created an application that taught beginners rudimentary piano. We wanted to create a tool that would allow users with absolutely no musical experience to learn a famous Bach piece in as short amount of time as possible. With temporally clustered videos, our program determines how the user is performing and provides recommendations for which segments the user should continue to. Click here for a demo.
Tree to Tree. Last year, I was part of the CS + Social Good Studio class, a 2 quarter long endeavor focused on building a scalable social good project. Our team realized that many students on campus want to do community service but have no outlet for doing so. We decided to combat this problem by creating an iOS application that allows users to sign us for community service events around campus. Click here for a demo.
FlappyAI For this project, my team and I used deep reinforcement learning and transfer learning in order to train a FlappyBird model to perform at superhuman levels. We modeled the problem as a Markov Decision Process and we wanted to see whether or not our model trained on FlappyBird would perform just as well on a different, but similar game: PixelCopter!
